3Do I need Java?
Yes! A Minecraft Java account is required to enter into The Uplift World. Don't have an account? Just follow the link we provided here.
4What is the difference between Uplift worlds?
There are 3 types of Worlds that exist within The Uplift.
- Creative: The World known as Genesis is a land of Creativity. There is no danger in this world and you have access to all available blocks to limit your designs and builds only by your imagination (and your plot size)
- Survival: The Survival worlds, while still tame, offer a different experience from Genesis. Rather than having all blocks at your fingertips you must collect wood from trees, mine stone and minerals, or be transported into the Nether for the rarest of items. Community is more important than ever on Survival worlds where you may wish to trade or even be gifted (or gifting) items to help fellow Survival players build up their plots. Survival worlds include Londom, Chik'in Ka'ah, as well as several others.
- Hardcore: Unlike the other 2 options there is no land ownership in the Hard Core world. Tread carefully alone or join an adventuring group into the depths and dangers of the World which has no sun, Nemesis
5Should I play on Creative or Survival?
This is more of a personal choice. Creative, as the name suggests, is geared more towards those who want to let their creativity flow into pixelated blocks as quickly and seamlessly as possible. Start building right away with all the blocks you need at your fingertips. Survival is more for those who are looking for a challenge or a more gamefied feeling to their plot building. Bring your creativity AND your wits to the Survival worlds.
